This special 8-inch (20 cm.) chrome file is made to Swix's exact specifications to meet the demands of World Cup service technicians. While top technicians typically use standard carbon steel files and chrome files for tuning, chrome files have gone through the additional manufacturing step of having chrome plating so to maintain a sharpness that lasts through many seasons.

Swix CH Wax (180 grams)
Swix offers a complete line of CH waxes for the entire spectrum of snow temperatures and conditions. the CH stands for Hydrocarbon. CH wax has no fluorocarbon material in their blends--these are 100% high performance hydrocarbon paraffins. CH waxes are assigned different colors based on their intended use in certain snow conditions. Their colors and temperature ranges coincide with the Swix HF and LF waxes, although the darker shades of color on the CH waxes can be distinguished from the Swix LF wax. Note: for the most common snow temperatures, CH6 Violet will do the trick, unless you're dealing with spring skiing conditions.

Swix Xactor II
Speed up your ski and snowboard tuning with this easy-to-use, three-in-one file design that streamlines the process for creating accurate base edge bevels, side edge bevels and sidewall removal. Swix improved the design and accuracy with a new patented adjustment knob that gives you an infinite amount of settings between 0 to 6 degrees on the side edge and sidewall, and anywhere between 0 to 4 degrees on the base edge. The previous Xactor incarnation made you choose whole degree increments for filing. This new version also features ceramic rollers that minimize friction and keep filings from being impregnated in the base. This is an amazingly convenient tool for both beginning tuners and experienced pros.

Swix Universal Alpine Kit
Easy to use and quick to apply, this Swix Universal Alpine Kit features an 80 ml. bottle of F4 Ski and Snowboard fluorinated liquid wax, Swix Base Cleaner and a Fiberlene roll for base cleaning application. After you're done cleaning the base of your ski or snowboard, use the fluorinated formula in the Swix F4 Glidewax to enhance the speed and glide of your ride. Push down on the applicator to apply the liquid to your base, then release the pressure and use the sponge to polish the surface. Swix F4 Liquid Glide Wax (80 ml. bottle)
Perfect for recreational skiing and snowboarding in a variety of snow conditions, the Swix F4 Glidewax is a compact fluorinated wax that you can use on the slopes with minimal hassles. Remove the clear plastic lid and push on the applicator to apply the liquid wax to your ski or snowboard base. Once you have enough wax on the surface, release the applicator and use the sponge to polish the surface. When applied correctly, Swix F4 Glidewax's universal formula enhances your glide on the flats and makes it easier to transition between turns. Swix "74" Waxing Iron
Enhanced with a new ergonomic shape, the Swix "74" Waxing Iron is an ideal essential for those big tuning jobs for family, friends and the local city league ski team. It's a highly affordable alternative to microprocessor-controlled irons, but you'll have to settle for an old school temperature indicator light instead of a thermostat (ask yourself how many times you really need that microprocessor for checking the temperatures). Up front you'll find clips for attaching Swix Fiberlene Paper for protecting those specialized cold condition waxes--although we find that Fiberlene is also great for picking up dirt and excess wax. The Swix "74" Waxing Iron has a compact profile for easy travel and it won't take up extra space in your ski tuning bag.
